Piperazine is an anthelmintic that blocks the muscular response of the parasite, paralyzing it and facilitating its elimination still alive through the feces.
Indications
Ascariasis; oxyurea.

lack of appetite; nausea; vomiting.
Contraindications
Convulsion; piperazine hypersensitivity; renal or hepatic impairment.
How to use
This oral medication should be taken on an empty stomach. One hour before or 2 hours after the meal
Adults : Children :
- oxyuriasis - 65 mg per kg body weight per day for 7 days. The maximum daily dose is 2.5 g.
- Ascaridiasis - 3.5 g in a single daily dose, for two consecutive days.
Children :
- Oxyuriasis - 65 mg per kg body weight per day for 7 days. The maximum daily dose is 2.5 g.
- Ascaridiasis - 0.75 g per kg body weight per day in a single daily dose for two consecutive days. The maximum daily dose is 3.5 g.
