Wartec is indicated for the treatment of genital warts affecting the intima and anal region in adults.
How to use Wartec
The use of Wartec should be guided by the doctor, however, the application of the cream should usually be done twice a day, morning and evening, for 3 days in a row and stop applying the cream during the next 4 days.
If after 7 days the wart has not left, another cycle of treatment should be started up to a maximum of 4 treatment cycles. If any wart remains after 4 treatment cycles, consult your doctor.
Wartec side effects
Wartec's side effects include irritation, tenderness, and burning on the second or third day of treatment. Increased sensitivity of the skin, itching, burning, redness and ulcer may also occur.
Wartec contraindications
Wartec is contraindicated in women who are pregnant or who plan to become pregnant during breast-feeding, in infants or young children, in open wounds, and in patients who have used any preparation with podophyllotoxin before and have had an adverse reaction.
