How to use
The mode of use of Furosemide should be doctor-directed, however, it usually ranges from 20 to 80 mg daily as needed, and the patient should take the tablets with liquid, orally and on an empty stomach.
In children, the recommended dosage is usually 2 mg / kg body weight, up to a maximum of 40 mg per day.
Side effects
Side effects of Furosemide include dehydration, decreased circulating blood, especially in the elderly, increased creatinine and triglyceride levels in the blood, decreased levels of sodium and chloride in the blood, reduced potassium levels in the blood, increased levels of cholesterol and uric acid in the blood, gout seizures, increased urinary volume and low blood pressure on rising.
Contraindications
Furosemide is contraindicated in infants, in patients with renal insufficiency and absence of urine, pre-coma, and coma due to liver encephalopathy, in patients with reduced blood potassium levels, reduced blood sodium levels, dehydration or circulating blood and in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula.
