What is it for
Otociriax is used for the treatment of bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Acinetobacter baumannii, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Enterobacteriaceae, Enterococcus faecalis and Proteus mirabilis .
How to use
You should lie down on the person who will use the medication on its side, with the affected ear up. The usual dose is 3 drops, twice a day, for 7 consecutive days.
You should stay for at least 30 seconds after dripping the droplets on the ear.
Each ml of this medicine is equivalent to 34 drops.
When not to use
This medicine should not be used in case of ear infection caused by fungi, viruses such as herpes simplex, herpes zoster or others, auricular tuberculosis, in case of perforation of the eardrum, against otitis media. It should also not be used in case of allergy to benzyl alcohol, hydrocortisone, ciprofloxacin, quinolone derivatives or any of the components of the formula. During pregnancy or lactation, it should only be used with medical advice.
