Unoprostone is an antiglaucomatous agent indicated for the treatment of individuals with Glaucoma and intraocular hypertension.
This ophthalmic drug increases the flow of the aqueous humor out of the eye and decreases intraocular pressure by ensuring the efficacy of the drug absorbed through the conjunctiva and cornea.
Indications of Unoprostone
Open-angle glaucoma; intraocular hypertension.
Side Effects of Unoprostone
Increased lash length; itchy eyes; dry eyes; burning and stinging eyes; redness in the eyes.
Contraindications of Unoprostone
Pregnancy risk C; women in the lactation phase; Hipersensibility to any of the formula's components.
How to use Unoprostone
Wash hands thoroughly and sit or lie down to apply eye drops. After application, lightly press the inner corner of the eye and never touch the applicator in the eyes.
It is advised not to close the eyes for a long time after the application nor to do it with force and if used with another product to decrease the intraocular pressure, wait at least 5 minutes between the applications.
