Indication
Ascaridil is indicated for the treatment of roundworms caused by the worm Ascaris lumbricoides . The worm is eliminated within 24 to 48 hours after its use.
How to use
This medicinal product must be ingested orally and should only be used as directed by the physician and may be used by adults and children, and in adults the indicated dose is 150 mg and in children up to one year 40 mg, between 1 and 7 years 80 mg and above 7 years 150 mg. This medicine should be taken at bedtime, and it is not necessary to take laxatives.
Side effects
Prolonged use of Ascaridil may cause changes in blood, colic, diarrhea, headache, inflammation of the mouth, nausea, palpitation, dizziness and vomiting.
Contraindications
Ascaridil is contraindicated during pregnancy in cases of renal or hepatic impairment and in cases of hypersecretion to components of the drug formulation.
