How to use Digitoxin (Dosage)
Oral use
Adults
- Quick scan: start with 0.6 mg and after 4 hours add another 0.4 mg. After another 4 hours from the previous application, administer 0.2 mg and then the maintenance dose, which is between 0.05 to 0.3 g.
- Slow scan : Administer 0.2 mg daily, 2 times daily for 4 days. The maintenance dose between 0.05 and 0.3 g should then be administered.
